Yakisugi is an old Japanese technique of charring the surface of wood. Here we have taken our very popular Organic Teak Bowls and applied this method. It results in a stunning finish allowing the grain of the wood to still show.

Use as a bowl for fruit or if serving food use a piece of baking paper to cover.

Our teak is made from recycled wood by the local villagers in Indonesia, helping to sustain their community. Each piece is made by hand, giving them all a unique finish. The unique grain patterns and earthy hues make it a work of art, sure to be the centrepiece of any space.

Every piece is a unique shape and no one is the same.

Shipping & Returns

All orders are delivered door to door by NZ Post, Monday to Friday. Customers located within the North Island can expect your items to be couriered within 3-5 working days. South Island customers can expect delivery within 5-7 working days of order placement.
